Hi Justin - I am responding to your call for help, I took a look at the EBAY [auction site] searching first for "Avanti Clarinet" [no hits], then "Selmer Clarinet" [101 hits] and suggest you do the same to get a "feel" of their clarinet buying-selling activities. Some time back I bought and resold a Selmer wood [USA] "intermediate" clarinet of the CL 1-2-300 series. It played quite well, better than the Bundys[student plastic] but, for me, not as well as the pro-level Selmer-Paris models. Of course, the price may have influenced my feelings. It sounds to me that you need some skilled help in evaluating a clar [visual and playing] before you buy. A local repair-person, teacher or just a good player would give you unbiased advice. Others, please help. Luck, Don

Justin,
you could look here on Sneezy under the classifieds and find just the horn for you.
