My clarinet case is wearing out and clearly needs to be replaced. However, I can't seem to find a case that fully meets my needs. I’m looking for a double case for both a Bb and Eb clarinet, preferably with space for accessories and an iPad.
So I thought—why not make my own clarinet case? I've already gathered quite a bit of information from this forum and have become very curious about Pelican cases with foam inserts. The only thing I’m wondering about is how these cases handle humidity.
Does anyone here use such a case? What are your experiences, and what have you done to maintain the humidity at the right level?

A 49% boveda pack should work well for you. I use one in my Lomax case, and I don’t have to change it very often.

A small digital hygrometer inside the container will help you monitor the humidity level. If the humidity is too high, you can add a small packet of silica gel to absorb excess moisture.
