I've now just seen a B&H Edgware clarinet in an auction listing spelt 'Fogware', so that's a new one to me. The typical misspelling of Edgware often being 'Edgeware'.
What other clarinet related names (both make and model names) make you laugh or wince when you see them misspelt?
While it's not a name as such, 'Sort after tenner saxaphone' is always a classic, then the photo shows the sax put on its stand the wrong way round with the crook put on facing forwards and the mouthpiece put on upside down. And not forgetting 'base claranet'.
I'll kick off with Keilwerth spelt 'Keilworth' and pronounced 'Keel-worth'.

Right now, there's a "Bandolen" Vandoren BD5 HD mouthpiece on Amazon, supposedly listed by Vandoren themselves.

Nowadays, who knows which misspellings are the writer's doing and which come courtesy of autofill and automatic spell check that change words all the time.

I also heard someone say he's got an 'Owart' oboe back in the '90s.

Early into my band teaching career a beginner listed his instrument as the Clarient. Once in a blue moon I still misspell it that way. And the kid who played the aulto sax.

Back in my jazz band days, now and then I would get a part for "Barry Sax".

Is that Adolphe's brother?
Yeah - being primarily a bari player, I've often had that too.

I was once offered an autograph score which I was told had been singed by the composer. Probably a bit blackened round the edges so I didn’t take it.
