Other than playing the clarinet, I enjoy refurbishing older wooden Bb’s. I recently acquired a Westminster of unstained Blackwood with a serial #3003 and stamped, made in Germany - no east/west designation. There’s no distinctive keywork. It seems that these clarinets were typically made by B & H in England. I’m curious regarding any history of this nicely toned horn that any might provide - thanks in advance.

Photos will help determine what it is and who made it.
Besson Westminsters were usually B&H Edgware stencils, so it will be interesting to see what this one is, although I'm suspecting it may be a Schreiber stencil. Attached is a transitional one from the very early '60s

I've not seen any old Schreiber clarinets made before Evettes, so I can only assume this is also a Schreiber if it has 'Germany' stamped on it.

Although I’ve been unable to tie Schreiber to Besson I think you’re on the right track. The only unusual difference I’ve found is the tenon to fit the barrel is 13/16” rather than the common 3/4”. The barrel is 66mm.
