Keep practicing.
If it helps, something I did one year (which was awesome) was play a hard piece of music. Then put it away and NEVER look at it again, but set a calendar alert to look at that specific piece of music in 1 full year.
After a year of practicing, I opened up that piece of music, and realized it wasn't as hard as it was before!
Only did it once, but that was enough to convince me that practicing works, slowly but surely!
Retired, playing more sax than clarinet, but still playing clarinet and still loving it!
