I purchased this clarinet back in 1989. It has pretty well remained in my filing cabinet until now.
I did play Alto saxophone for 2 years in school band back in the 60s so I thought the same era clarinet would be interesting to play.

C for clarinet? Trick question...
Serial# 81221
The case exterior is a little rough and needing the handle repaired, but the actual clarinet is in very good condition with no cracks. It has a Selmer mouth piece.
The clarinet was taken to a repair shop a few weeks after I purchased it to have it professionally assessed. It was fully stripped and washed, new pads and joint corks were installed along with a few minor repairs.
It looks to be an R13 from 1964-65ish. I checked serial numbers for the Buffet Crampon clarinets but the age is vague for these years.
Photos have been uploaded in a later post.
Thank you for any help.

Yes. But you can get the file size down to something under 1 MB with any basic photo editor without losing the image's clarity.

Here are photos of my clarinet.
I am also searching for a photo of what the case handle should looks like.
Would anyone have an original case from the 1950s-60s similar to
mine with an intact original handle?
All help is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Where is my hidden closet of professional clarinets?
This is very likely a Buffet R13, made in 1964 based on the serial number 81221, per the chart here:

Definitely an R13.
I have that exact same style case which came with my 1962 Eb clarinet and it still has the original handle. See attachments.

Thank you Andres.
It is good to see confirmation it is an R13 from 1964.
This is the same year I was playing Saxophone in the 10th Grade :-)
