Came across a listing on eBay for R13 Professional.
The photos are of low quality but I can clearly see the word "PROFESSIONAL" engraved below the "Made in France" line on the upper joint.
S/N seem to be F128xxx.
The seller is from Japan.
Is this a model made for the Japanese market? Or for the French one? (F before the s/n)
I am not going to buy it, just curious what it is.
Thanks

In short, I simply don't know; perhaps others do. That said, I would recommend you following the quintessential opposite of the following statement:
"Whenever you see a good deal on the internet, grab it. Everyone is so honest there, and only people selling instruments at fair or below fair market value to raise money for the orphanage lists any thing there."

The F in the serial number means, that the instrument is designed to play in European (or "Continental") pitch a'=442Hz. In those days (1970s?) they used to tune the instruments in pitches 440 or 442. Nowadays they just provide the instrument with two barrels!

Jarmo,
thanks- I realize that the clarinet is tuned to 442Hz.
I just never saw the word "professional" engraved into the body of a Buffet.
