I’m always on the lookout for clarinet, cello and piano rep. There is a very attractive trio by Eduard von Lannoy, it was published by Musica Rara but is now long out of print. Other than paying a fortune to AbeBooks has anyone any ideas how to get hold of a copy?

I posted this some time ago but maybe someone out there can help now. I still haven’t tracked it down.

Hi JohnP.
The Lannoy Trio is in the RCM library. If you don't have access I could get it. Email me. John

I heard a trio for cello, clarinet and piano on the radio by a certain Rita Strohl, a French composer I had never heard of. -a lovely piece!

Hi John
Thanks for your kind offer. I saw that the RCM library has it. I do know at least a couple of people who I could ask to get it for me and may pursue that. I would of course prefer to get hold of a copy I could keep. I really need to listen to it again too and make sure it’s worth the trouble!
