I'm thinking of getting a Marcus Bonna double case (this one: https://mbcases.com/portfolio/cases/clarinets/case-for-2-clarinets-a-bb ). Can anyone tell me the size (all three dimensions) of the long accessory space near the front of the case please? Just trying to work out where all my stuff might go!
Any other feedback / advice on these cases is also most welcome.

It looks like the height is just below 65mm (the barrels seem to stick out a bit), the width is just a little over the barrel diameter, and you can estimate the length by placing your clarinet parts the same way as they would be in the case.

Thanks for these estimates. I had actually done this myself and was hoping someone with the case could post the measured dimensions since the lid is somewhat recessed and it's unclear whether those barrels are resting on the bottom of the case. Plus a clarinet bell diameter is significantly larger than 65mm and the case doesn't appear to be wider there.
Other photos (e.g. these ones at Earspasm) make it look like the section is a bit deeper:

I will try and remember to measure/take pictures of my case when I get home.
I can put barrels in the front accessory compartment standing vertically though.
I really like the case, it’s significantly smaller than the common bam trekking, and feels lighter on my back also. I also like that it works as a makeshift triple case with Eb, though that depends on your comfort level with it being somewhat unsecured/uneven pressure on keys.

Are Marcus Bonna cases rigid or soft? I mean the outer shell- looking at the website photo, it is not clear. Would a case survive a fall or if something falls on top of it?
Thank you

Thanks so much for this and the photos Robin. I have an old trekking so your comparison is really helpful.
Paul.

Relatively rigid, I think there is a thin layer of wood or something similar in the shell.
