Definitely in need of some help here. I purchased an old Leblanc 340 contrabass clarinet years ago from a friend and just had some work done on it to get it back into playing condition.
I'm trying to figure out how old this instrument is though. When I look for serial number information, dates only run to 1964 and the serial number on the instrument does not match any of these numbers. I know they were made before 1964, but I have no way of tracking down where it is from. The serial number I can find says CB100
Any resources would be super helpful!
Thanks!

Hi! Great work on getting it back into playing condition! I've had an opportunity to play a contrabass clarinet although the octave key was not working. I saw in a different post asking about dating a bass clarinet and this website seemed to help https://www.wfg.woodwind.org/clarinet/cl_alt_4.html

CB100 looks like Clarinette Basse [modèle] 100 to me. Not a serial number.
