This is my observation of the old(er) clarinets: they may seem to be in OK condition but, as you start playing them on a regular basis, various problems begin to show up, from wobbly keys to tiny chips in tone holes, lose posts and springs, etc.

Nothing that cannot be corrected but I would not want to deal with those problems if I were a pro or semi-pro player.
This is my own opinion, based on my own experience.
