Hi,
Where could I get the music score (in B clarinet, of course) for Bruch's Scottish Fantasy Op. 46, esp. the Introduction, please.
Recently I attended a violin performance on this piece and the Introduction (the Funeral March) moved me into tears.
Thank you,
kahhuat

I've never heard of an arrangement of this for clarinet. Doesn't the Introduction go a little too high for clarinet? And there are an awful lot of double stops. Get a copy of the violin score and try some transposing. If you like this piece, you have to get the amazing Jascha Heifetz recording. He owned this piece.

Micaela -
There's a great film about Heifetz, at the end of which he plays the Scottish Fantasy. People say he was cold, but on that day he was red hot. His face was a mask, but his bow arm and fingers told a different story.
Best regards.

Hi Mr Koh! Its me Kenny, hope u remember me. This web page contains the MIDI music of what you want.
http://www.classicalarchives.com/midi-a-e.html#b
Scroll down to the "Bruch" page
Use a software like Finale2000 to convert it to musical notation. I could convert the violin part to a Bb part if you want :-)
