Wondered if anyone can tell me a little more about this clarinet.
It's missing the mouthpiece but the rest seems to be original.
There's 1893 stamped on the two longest pieces and the No.5 stamped
On the bottom of of the crest on the bottom (pictured) but there doesn't
Appear to be any other serial numbers.
(Unfortunately there was nothing else with it as it was pulled out of a skip)
Also interestingly the stamped crests seem to have had gold leaf in them

1928 according to my list but easily 1929-30 too
the smooth/flat tenon rings definitely are not original, and not installed flush
It seems to be missing keywork as the bridge mechanism/key is not there.
Damaged ring keys, heavily worn toneholes, etc.
It's odd that the bell has a serial number on it, I should check my wraparound to see if it has one too.

I wasn't sure if the barrel was original because the tenon rings didn't match but it could be if the tenon rings on the rest of the clarinet are not original. The woods a little lighter too.
