I played it back in November when they brought it to the NC Music Educators Association Conference. It's geared towards doublers and beginners, although it's not going to give you the traditional flute tone. I'd say it's closer to having a fully chromatic whistle or recorder.

I was able to play some regular repertoire (Bach C major, Daphnis and Chloe, Midsummer's Night Dream excerpts), but learning to achieve a good sound was interesting.
