I'm actually excited about this because last festival I did not even get in, and I also didn't get last chair which makes it even better. Getting music soon, wish me luck. :3

The funny thing is a big chunk of my band can't understand the blending concept, which is why we do so terrible as competitions LMAO.

ANEBF might be this:
All New England Band (and chorus) Festival

Ooh, nice! Is your guys' the same as ILMEA (Illinois Music Educators Association)?
We have an all district level (which everyone plays in), then later an all state, and in tandem with that an "honors" all state. They are all honor bands with a day or maybe two to rehearse, then we go!
Have fun!
Reese Oller
Clarinet student (performance major at Millikin University)
I can play bass clarinet, Eb clarinet, BBb contra, alto saxophone, bassoon at a decent level, and flute in a pinch.
