Repair Tech in Chicago (area)

My first post hope everyone's doing well. I previously went to Rick Sayer to have work done but he no longer takes "lesser quality" instruments in for repair. Any recommendations?

Have you tried Sam Gordon (Gordon Woodwinds) in the Fine Arts Bld (across from Buckingham Fountain)?

I would guess that Brannen is still mostly R13s

Here's a wild card. I stopped in at Ellman's Music Center in Naperville. They had a good variety of accessories and instruments. I saw a really nicely refurbished Selmer Series 9 there years ago and remembered the place for that. If the other stores are not cooperating with you.........try Ellman's
