Anyone have any good fingerings for the G#-G in this passage at the end?

As you likely realize, as of this writing there's nothing associated with this post that might shed light on the music, and therefore which G-G# in the instrument's range you speak of.

...so let me take a shot in the dark...

If its this G-G# [G5]

and

Coming off the [E6]

add the right middle finger for the [G#6]

and remove the left ~~right~~ ring finger while adding the right pointer finger for the [G6]

What fingering are you trying to use that isn't working well?
My go-to fingering for G#/Ab up there is to finger [F6]

, add RH index finger and use the RH F#/C# lever instead of D#/Eb - TR oxxG#|xooF#lever. For convenience, I'd skip the RH Eb lever for [E6]

that precedes G#.

But depending on your clarinet, you might be able to use the next harmonic above one of a couple of [Eb6]

fingerings. The fingering I gave in the last paragraph speaks more easily than some others.

Thanks ! I was using the harmonic D#/Eb for the high G# and then D fingering. for the G but just have to be careful voicing it.

While the first G# fingering that Karl mentioned is a great fingering for pitch and security, I probably wouldn’t use it in this excerpt. I would prefer the harmonic/overblown D# (which, btw, should almost NEVER be used for D#!) middle finger G# since pitch is less of a consideration here since you leave the note almost immediately. I would then play the G natural by simply adding both the index finger of the right hand and the C#/G# left hand key. Since that G is sustained (with everybody else), you have a better in tune note than the so-called standard high G fingering and it’s also quite secure, IMO, and a very simple progression from one fingering to the next.

Try Sp. Th. xoo|xoo Ab/Eb for the altissimo G,

then Sp. Th. Throat G# ooo|xoo Ab/Eb for the altissimo G#
