Perhaps the limiting factor in what I wish to achieve here is my iPhone's microphone, but can anyone recommend a not too expensive iPhone app that shows a digital analysis of my sound including overtones?
It could be an app that also does tuning, etc.
I feel my sound is slightly better playing double than single lip but I was curious if there was some objective display of sound software application out there that might show this difference, if not make editorial judgements on which sound sounds better, as well as provide mewith feedback for adjustments to my single lip embouchure that better approach the sound I get from my double lip embouchure.
TIA

The “Spectral Frequency Analyzer/Harmonic Energy Series” screen in TonalEnergy Tuner might be what you are looking for.

I want to like Tonal Energy so much...but I can't get over the smiley face tuning display. For some reason my brain cannot comprehend that display to easily see if I'm sharp or flat. I wish it had just a regular dial display...sigh...progress for the sake of progress I guess.
I do like the sound waveform analysis feature, and the recording and playback function where you can see your intonation in the recording is neat.

" Strobsoft " have a few apps which are very good . I have the blue/ black sliding grid tuner and really like it . They appear to have a couple other sound graphing apps that might be what you're looking for .

Two of these Strobosoft apps are demonstrated in Micheal Lowenstern's review of the Ridenour Lyrique 925 bass clarinet on YouTube . Both the tuner and the spectrum analyzer.
