It has been 1000 years since I had last been seen. I feel like I had posted my entire existence of clarineting, but finally my namesake is coming full circle.
I already owned an old shoddy Bundy contralto, but I am the dummy that purchased the Selmer Series 9 that was on Reverb today. I didn't pay FULL price, but I also didn't pay a not-too-low price. :( Omg my brain.
Do I have a purpose to play it for? No.
Am I older now with income that I can throw away frivolously? Also no.
My husband is helping me purchase it so I don't have to take out a loan, but also it is a manageable enough cost that I won't be out on the street (I hope).
I will follow up with baby pictures when it comes in.
Also, anyone interested in buying an old Bundy contra? hahahaha *dies in bass clef*

You can always justify buying anything for the simple reason "because it was there" and it won't be there for long.
Trust your impulses and regret nothing!
