Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies to my post about tendonitis (AHHHHHHHHHHH!) and also the left hand exercises and mouthpiece exercises. I didn't get the cortisone shot rather my pt is giving me cortisone patches 3 times a week among other treatments. Also sad to say that my dear friend is sitting alone in it's case just waiting to be played again! (After the Kooiman is installed and the pain has subsided) so again thanks for the encouragement and advice! Have fun at Clarinetfest those of you who are going!

I just read some of your earlier posts that I had missed. I am also 19, my tendonitis turned into Carpal Tunnel and I am a college music major. I have found ways to deal with it including neck straps and using my knww to hold it up.

Feel free to e-mail me and we can support each other as we play. It is nice to know that someone else understands how I feel and what I am going through, and maybe I can be there to help you through it.

Best of luck!
Sara
