The bell ring on my Rossi cocobolo clarinet broke. What's the best way to replace it? Does any company specialize in custom rings?

Do you mean the one around the bottom of he bell? Is it a metal ring? Did its seam come apart? I had a bell ring (on a Buffet Eb clarinet) clarinet come loose because of a split seam and my repairman glued it (I think with epoxy but maybe superglue) back in place.
OTOH, it doesn't really reinforce anything as the socket rings do. Does the clarinet sound different without the ring?

On the contrary, bell rings DO reinforce bells and safeguard against cracking if you use a Hercules peg or similar where ALL the weight of the clarinet is on the peg and it's pushing against the inside of the bell instead of the stands that have a flat base that fully supports the bottom of the bell and the peg isn't tight inside the bell.

Maybe I'm not as familiar with Rossi clarinets as I should be, but all of the bells on my four Rossi instruments are made from one piece of wood, no separate rings.
Can you post a photo?

Also, I've never seen a bell ring on a Rossi clarinet.

That's sort of why I asked if the OP meant a bottom ring (as distinct from the socket ring at the top of the barrel).
But now I see on the Rossi website that the new ones have as an advertised feature wooden rings on the barrel and the bell. So if this is a wooden ring that broke and it can't be glued, Rossi would probably be the best source of information. Even if you can get a replacement, you'd have to know how yo install it. It might be something that has to be done on dedicated equipment at Rossi's shop.

You're right. I should email the shop and ask for the best way to replace it. I did this many years ago and spent a lot of money on an international FedEx, and the ring broke again.

maybe you can get a ring made of carbon fiber - that would guarantee you from (potential) future problems.
