I just donated lots of clarinet music, etudes, and clarinet related materials to the International Clarinet Association library, housed at the University of Maryland.

I scanned the title page of each item (you could photograph instead) and then emailed the file - a pdf in my case - to:

The library then id'ed what they already had, (to avoid duplicates), and let me
know what they wanted. I then sent the stuff Library Rate - even cheaper than Media Mail or other USPS rates.
