Hi everyone,
A question for anyone dealing as teacher or student with online lessons: I have a new student who cannot use Zoom. We're trying Google Duo, and while the connection is very stable, the online clarinet sound is not great. It tends to cut out or down in volume when she plays higher and/or louder.
I've seen this periodically over the past 2 years, and have assumed that this is a 'self-defense' mechanism of the microphone. Getting her a bit more distant improved things a bit, but the issue persists.
Has anyone had success with this? We've tried both the laptop mic and a stand-alone. It doesn't appear that Google Duo has the same kind of in-depth sound settings as Zoom.
Thanks a lot,
Peter
