Yesterday I viewed the Youtube peformance of "Gabriel's Oboe" by the German clarinetist Sabine Grofmeier. (It's a famous work written by Ennio Morricone for the film "The Mission".) In it she is accompanied by the Copernicus Chamber Orchestra conducted by Horst Sohm. I searched Groth Music to see if that arrangement is available and I don't see it.
I'd like to perform this arrangement at a gala Christmas concert at my Atlanta area church in December. Might any of you out there suggest how I might go about finding this arrangement? Naturally, I've reached out to Maestro Sohm and done my best to reach Sabine Grofmeier through a couple of her press or promotional representatives.
If anyone has an email for Sabine and would like to share it with me, my email address is gstalle@comcast.net.
Thanks for your contributions to my quest!
George
