I didn't see any breathing marks ( ' ) so it would be very dificult for me to say all that he/she has to say.

So, the question is, is the clarinet even worth bidding on? Or is this person...ahem...full of it?

What I wanna know is why is he selling it if it's "his favorite instrument"? I mean, yes it's broken, but still...

The Eb horn may be worth the price of admission, depending on what you're looking for. The seller's Toasted horn may be interesting to someone too but it looks to me like both of them got half baked from staying out in the California sun too long.

I don't know the guy, only know he always bids on the same sax stuff I am interested in. But (even on the "toast") he seems to be honest with his descriptions. So if you are looking for a wooden E-fer, well, then this is one.

Even with alla hyperbole, this guy moves product.
I wouldnay wishta buy soocha wee thangy withoot a trial, now wooldja laddies?
Eefers really accentuate differences in design, test periods are pretty vital.
I don't see a provision for this, amongst all the dreck.

Even for bragging, that's a long message. As long as the Nashville Christmas Parade (And to marching band members, that's pretty long.)

OK- this is the first time I've ever heard an eefer called "mellow." "Piercing" seems more appropriate.

Interestingly enough, if you hear an Eb virtuoso play it can be described as "mellow". I have (somewhere in my stacks ) a recording of something by John Bruce Yeh. While the piece itself doesn't stick in my mind, I was trying to figure out how Mr. Yeh was able to get such a nice, really high altissimo without being weak, screechy, or tinny.
Then I read that the piece was for Eb clarinet.
And I hadn't even noticed!
