Considering the white Tonalex just because I like the look but not sure of a non rubber mouthpiece. Also, is it any different that a Brilhart Tonalin? Eh?

If they are similar to Brilhart, you need to try it out on your horn before you get one. My 1990s R-13 was absolutely unplayable with a new Ebolin. It was impossibly out of tune. I can only assume they were intended for larger bore instruments.

Matt74, that may be true. The Beechlers are said to be used by "doublers" because they blow like sax MPCs. BTW, I do have a big bore Leblanc Dynamique, so half the problem solved if there is a need for big bore. Thanks for the input.

no tunning issues with the tonalex on any of my other clarinets but havnt tried it on the r13 i admit.
