A belated Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year to all on the board ! It is a pleasure and enriching experience to participate in this knowledgeable and civilized forum. Our concert band played the Tollite Hostias from the Oratorio de Noël by Saint-Saëns at our Christmas concert, simple but very effective and moving. We also played the D. Louis arrangement of the Nightmare Before Christmas which met with less approval but which I enjoyed playing immensely, the way it jumps around. Luckily the Oratorio and a creole carol came after it ! Let's hope we will all be able to continue playing regularily in 2022.
