This is the second one that they have listed. The other one went for a little of $700 I believe.

The 10S Is a nice horn. I have had 2. One had nasty throat tones, the other was just PERFECT. Best, mw

As one who harbors great lust after F.B. clarinets, I salivate at this one! But the import duties to the U.S. from Australia might be a bit steep, no?

To C. Hogue:

The tarriff rate on musical instruments from Australia would be 4.9%. You can find more information here:
http://dataweb.usitc.gov/scripts/tariff2001.asp

As a nation recognized as bearing Normal Trade Relations with the USA, this applies to Australia, Canada, and all but a small number of nations not meeting this status.

I just bought a pair of R-13's from Canada with a declared value of $700.00. My duty that was COD was around $39.00 This also covers the fees paid to the customs brokerage house that was used by UPS. In my case, UPS performed the service without any work on my behalf or the sellers behalf. I just wrote the check when the item arrived!

This is a beauty, and if you can snag it for around $700.00, I would say GO FOR IT!

Good Luck,

Kevin

By the way--- here's my disclaimer.

Info in my previous post is information only. Your mileage may vary! US Customs service has the ultimate say over the interpretation of the HTSA. I've never had problems, but I'm sure there are people that have.
