i got a batch of Bb mpcs and went tru them all tonite. the one that stood out is marked r marlane standard paris france. if this is the standard model-id like to play the deluxe. this is one fine playing mpc. the articulation is very fast and accurate. i know a good mpc when i play one. any info on these? i know marlane was a frenc hmaker of clarinets but who made these mpcs?

yes you guys are right i read the small writing wrong. so its another mystery of who actually made the old french mpc? my old stock noblet alto clarinet mpc is a real player too. you just never know till you try them

Hey super20dan,
posting a few pictures would help us to identify the mouthpiece. I had 3 Malerne mouthpieces before, at least two of them was a Chedeville stencil, one was very likely a Riffault. There are quite a few incarnations of these out there and the quality is varying from poor to very decent refacing candidates, but the original facing is almost always unusable IMO.
