Thanks for bringing this one to our attention (I mean all on the Board......but mainly me).
Synthetic materials (various forms of plastic) work AMAZINGLY with Legere reeds, which I use. I worry about the unadjustability of the "slide on" design. The ligatures that work best so far can be placed right at the line of ligature which also seems to be the sweet spot for the Legere reeds.
But, order is in, let ya know.

When you get It, inform me how It plays, how It responds with cane reeds and how makes the sound.. brighter? better projection than metal and plastic ligatures?(again, talking with cane reeds which I'm more interested..) Also, upload a picture of the ligature If you like..

Sorry, don't do cane. Haven't in six years. But this could be a winner with plastic reeds. I do like the interior design that actually features a "flattened" area for the reed and two longitudinal "bars" for contact much like a Bonade.

Those Bonade rails attracted me too.. For now, I play compass ligature which I find surprisingly good!! Read my review on Amazon If you will, the one with the picture..

I ordered it a month ago and use it with a crystal mouthpiece. It makes a very big difference. It feels like the ligature is united with the reed and vibrates. Colleagues around me tried it and they all decided to switch. About $50 for this kind of performance is very reasonable.
+ I use both reeds. (synthetic and cane)
both are works very well. but just fine fit size for you.

Doesn't need one for synthetic and another one for cane reeds? Or they stay both in place with the one for the crystal mouthpiece?

Yes. I use a buffet crystal from the 1960s. And my friend uses the BD4. My friend chose vandoren from the options but the ligature was a bit baggy with bd4. So he contacted vientos and asked for a slightly smaller size.

It's basically solid. It feels like plastic, but a little different. But the moment I opened this package, I was sure it would be extremely durable.
But their caveats say direct sunlight can cause discoloration

Yes. I use one ligatur for both types of reeds. However, since the legere is thinner than the cane, I have to lower the ligature a bit more when using the legere.

I can summarize my thoughts on this ligature in one word:
WOW !!!!!!
I plopped it on and could not stop playing (our cat was in agony........no accounting for taste). With European Legeres it is really loud and resonant. I actually can't think why it would not work great with cane as well.
To answer (sorta) an earlier question, the material is hard (you cannot squeeze it) but not in a high impact plastic sort of way.
More to say for sure but I'd prefer to post a separate, well thought out review. For now, gotta go back to torturing the cat.

Totally agree!! I really liked it.
I tries carbon and glassy model.
carbon has dark sound. but I really liked glassy ligature.
I cant not understand why it is cheap.
They are real deal!!!
It has very quick response and resonance.
I felt freedom with them.

Yup,
I hate to say it because the Luyben and Vinson are the ones that got me on this path, but the Vientos Vintage has a rock solid sound that just projects out more. By comparison the Luben is just a bit "brittle" sounding.
I noticed that under the "Carbon" version of their ligature, Vientos claims they can customize using their contact page. I sent off a note last night to see how custom I can get it. Though the ligature sounds amazing, I would appreciate comparing it with one that sits more in the middle of the "bark" section. My old (20 years or more) Hawkins is super narrow and the Vientos falls pretty low. Gotta say, that is the issue with a fixed diameter ligature, it just makes contact at ONE SPOT.
