Yes, another BBoard member has sent me some information and a comparative chart from Chedeville showing the same measurements, which match up with what I would have expected. The original (I actually have a prototype he gave me to try that pre-dates the first commercial release) was eventually labeled #2 and was slightly more open - maybe 1.00 or 1.01 mm - than what eventually became the P and then the P34, which are nominally, I think, meant to be about 0.99 mm. The #2 was opened a little more, apparently to 1.05, once the P34 was introduced (the P34 was sold as Gigliotti's "Personal" facing - the P - but with a more conventional 17 mm curve length (34 on Eric Brand's gauge, which measures in half-millimeters).
