got a great deal on a returned one on ebay and gave it a long play test today.plays very well for a mpc at this price point (under 100$) and comes with cap and lig. what really wowed me is the ease of the altisimo with the hite. notes speak eaiser and much better in tune. on a side note the legere euro cut is amazing and i will use these from now on.

I have a Hite mp for my Bb clarinet and I love it too. I've tried loads of others and this one just works perfectly for me.

Can I ask whether you need to do anything special to get the legere euro cut to work well on the Hite mp? I gather that some people place the reed slightly differently for the best effects, but I've not heard specific commentary on Hite MPs.

i place the reed with the tip more or less = to the tip of the faciing so i can just barley see the edge of the reed. i bought 2 different strength euros so i would have some room for error so to speak. the hite works well with either so far. i was looking for a mpc with a closer tip opening from my b46 vandy and the hite is indeed less work to play. will be interesting to see how the euros hold up strength wise over time. but adjusting the euros up or down has the same effect on the way they play as other reeds so far. i havnt noticed if they have a sweet spot as far as placement .
