I have recently bought a silver plated (didnt know at the time) unmarked clarinet. Generally in good condition other than the usual deep clean, tear down, repad etc etc. Had do idea it was plated and had to test the metal. It is a heavy plate and comes up well as you would expect from older silver. I cannot though find a maker that matches it in any way. There are a couple of clues that date it, from lack of guide for the C trill and single fixing for the E/B and F#/C# LH pinky keys. I have attached a photo and if anyone has any idea please post. No idea how it plays until I have worked on it..........

Clarinets; B&H Edgware wood x 2, HR, 8-10 x 2, Besson Westminster, F Buisson, Noblet 40, Noblet 45 Artist x 2, Selmer Sterling & Console wood etc
Saxes; Buescher Aristocrat Alto, H Selmer/Bundy 1 Buescher 20A stencil,
