 D'Amore Bell
Author: OrmocOehler

Hello, I play German system clarinet exclusively.
I have a Bb clarinet and G clarinet; I call it my clarinet d'amore.
I want to get a d'amore bell made for my G clarinet.
At present it has a traditional clarinet bell, which of course there is nothing wrong with that...but I would really love to have a d'amore bell made for my G clarinet.

Does anyone know where I can get one made?

I’ve made quite a few of these with my 3D printer, including one for a custom low C “clarinet d’amour” that I recently made. I really wish more manufacturers made these as they really give the instrument a beautiful tone in my opinion. Feel free to reach out to me if you’re interested in one.

The only other maker I know if that makes these is Gerold:

Andreas Schöni in Bern makes historical clarinetti d'amore. He could definitely make an amore bell for your instruments.

Have you tried a cor anglais bell on it?

My Marigaix 930 cor bell fits my Selmer CT clarinets and vice versa as I've repurposed an old cracked CT bell to turn my cor into an oboe da caccia.

Strangely enough, my dear friend and colleague Richard Haynes has recently done this:

So you could try Jochen Seggelke?
