 Vintage William Whiteley Boxwood Clarinet?
Author: hashburn

Hi all,

I recently acquired what appears to be a boxwood clarinet made by William Whiteley in Utica. It's got the markings "WmWHITELEY UTICA" on each part, and has 9 keys. All keys are circular and not square. Bell and barrel rings are what seem like could be ivory. There is no indication of the instrument key.

Does anybody know anything about these clarinets? I tried doing some digging online but did not find much.

Thanks!
