Hi! I have an old Conn 482N bass clarinet that I played back in elementary school. I have been researching and trying to figure it out if it goes down to a low Eb or a low C. I have lost nearly all knowledge of what I knew back then haha so forgive me if this is a silly question. Just looking for some detailed info before I decide if I’d like to sell it or hold onto it. I’ve attached a photo.
Thanks!

Neither, it only goes to low E unfortunately. This might make it difficult to sell, although it is still a decent instrument otherwise.

Looks to me like to low E, even though I never played a bass.
I home that some one else (who played a bass) will answer to you as well.

Only to low-E, yes. But they're decent instruments, and if you want it to be useful in today's world, a single-note extension to give it the modern standard range to low Eb is not that difficult to build and install.
