we did this a couple of months ago, and it would be a good idea to see who has signed up.
I'm going--looking forward to seeing all of you.

Sorry, Bob. I chickened out........spent all my $$+$$$$ in Vegas (it was actually half the cost of what NO would have cost, including gambling losses). I would love to have gone to NO but cannot afford both and my wife wanted to go to Vegas -- Hey! that's how I've stayed married for 44 years.
I know I would have really enjoyed myself in NO (and so would my wife -- she has in the past). Maybe next year, in Stockholm is it? That could be fun too -- cooler probably. So I'll save up.
My first week at learning "Crossing the Break" -- sure is tough going from the "A" key to "B" natural; ouch!
I know it will be rough but you guys will have to tough it out and have fun without me.

Ya'll come down to see me in the vendor's area. It will be great to put faces with the knowledgable persons and sharp wits that post on the BB. I am looking forward to some great jazz in "Nawlens".

Wish I could say I was going--but guess not. I "bit the bullet" and decided to become a Sneezy sponsor (look for The Clarinet Grammy soon) and really need to buy some clarinets--so if I could figure out a fast trip to N.O. I might pack up my hubby and fly out for the weekend. I'd love to have the opportunity to play all those great instruments and mouthpieces, etc. that will be there. Not to mention hearing that great lineup of musicians.
So, enjoy for me.

Hi all,
Unfortunately, I am stuck in Montreal for the summer.
I am a grad student in computer science which means no cash, as long as I'm a student ;-) , and no time to go anywhere but to the lab...
You guys have fun, we'll be expecting news from you,
-Sylvain

I just decided yesterday to go! I'm so excited. I was in New Orleans for Jazz Fest in April and can't wait to go back.

I'm definitely going...got all my reservations in...tried to talk my 19-year-old clarinet major daughter into going, but she has to be at school by Aug 19th for marching band, and wants those last few days for R & R (read visit with friends). So I'll be alone (heaven) and am very much looking forward to meeting those of you who'll be there.
