I have attached an image of what I understand to be the end rings referred to. Are these only found on Emperors?

Yeah - only on Emperors (which are silver plated versions of Edgwares).
Regent and Edgware have your traditional-looking socket rings.
Emperors have the scalloped ones.
926 and 1010s have flat-sided socket rings.
They also did heavy gauge flat-sided ones with bevelled edges and a central groove on Rudall Carte Graduate clarinets which are Regents with a matt finish (the B&H made ones as opposed to Bundy/Buescher Aristocrat stencils).
