I'm an Eb Clarinet player and I want 2 know from all of u that play this instrument, about your own tuning.
My lowest E is 40 cents sharp, while the 1/2 step above F is in tune. The long B is in tune but the third space C is 40 cents sharp.
All my other notes ( especially in the altissimo register ) are in tune. I'm the envy of the clarinet sections and directors because I'm so well in tune (when I'm fully warmed up).
I want 2 know if these tuning quirks are true of your Eb Clarinet or all the clarinets in Eb are out of tune (alto, contralto and sub contrabass in EEb)?

The description of low F being "in tune" and the corresponding 12th up being 40 cents high sounds odd to me (even for an Eb clarinet).
All I can say is that there is a gizm that Clark Fobes makes that is basically an extension (made to improve resonance) that fits between the bell and lower joint of Eb clarinets. It might help your situation if the issue is caused by the emphasis of certain upper partials.

That sounds really odd and hard to believe. The duodecime E/B is -40 and the duodecime F/C +40, which makes 80 cents difference!
Really problematic seems to me that (the important) middle C is 40 cents sharp.

The Fobes extension helps with a lot of your tuning problems. My B is in perfect tune with it.
You ight also consider trying alternate barrels. I use a Chadash barrel on my Eefer.
