I personally play on a 10K AP as well as tried Clark's various openings in 10K & Zinner blanks including a Zinner version of the CK(but NOT the 10K version). IMO it's feels and sounds pretty good, giving a pretty open sound without sounding too spread. That said, I personally prefer a medium-open facing on both Bb & Bass, hence the reason I eventually landed on my current 10K AP.
The 10K blank is more focused and deeper sounding than the older Zinner Blank, so I'm pretty confident that you'll like it if you prefer a rather open facing that is pretty versatile for various settings.
*Disclaimer: I'm a bit partial to Clark's products personally(especially the 10K line) as they work for me pretty well 8 out of 10 times, plus I've been doing business with him for nearly 5 years.
NB Clark's bass facings are also waaay shorter than the B50 (24-25 vs 32mm!!) so there's a noticeable difference in feel.
Max S-D: Clark made the CK & SV for 2 different players (the latter whom I know personally, and I also had several exchanges with the former). Not sure how long the SV facing length is though.
