New fingering for bass clarinet A4

I've got about five fingering charts, and I've been trying to find an A4 that I like, and I haven't liked any. They are awkward to finger, don't blow easily, or are out of tune. I finally invented one that I think will be just fine. Try this: Register key (thumb hole open), left hand--1st finger half hole, 2nd finger, 3rd finger; right hand--first finger. It plays in tune, blows easily, and it is an easy fingering to get to from other fingerings. I'm using a Selmer Series 9 bass clarinet. I don't know how well or poorly it will work on other horns.

Hi Ken, I tried your fingering today and found that it works great on my horn, a Selmer Model 33. I also found I could get a pretty good Bb by adding the fork key to your fingering, but it seemed a bit flat on my horn. I should check it against a tuner, I think lifting my lift index finger from the A4 you site makes almost as good a Bb. Thanks.
