I had a chance to try them at the last Midwest Clinic. They don't seem to be the way to go, unfortunately. The instrument's build was suspect and the sound was more "dead" than "dark." It's essentially a ripoff of the Royal Classical Limited clarinets but executed in a poor way IMO. The Classical Limiteds, on the other hand, are fantastic if you're going for that price point. The Royals also go for the more warm quality of sound without losing balance or becoming dead.

I repaired one SeriO and I liked the way it played. The quality was about the same as Royal clarinets.
