What is the instrumentation for the Mozart Serenade No. 11 in Eb? I played it at camp and I can't remember what the instrumentation is. I think it's an Octet, but I don't know. Thanks!!!!!

Amanda

The original version is for 6 instruments: 2 clarinets, 2 french horns and 2 bassoons. The most known version is for an octetc, made by Mozart himself, with 2 oboes. It's a wonderful music

And don't forget the C minor serenade as well - same eight instruments. These are two of the most sublime pieces of music ever composed - well worth the trouble of trying to organize a woodwind octet.
