I have heard some wonderful things about a method book written by Carl Baermann but have been having problems locating a copy. I was wondering if anyone knew the publisher and/or where I might be able to locate a copy.

I just bought the Baerman from J.W. Pepper and Son, Inc. It's the complete method for clarinet Op. 63, 1'st and 2'nd divisions combined, and it's $13.95. Just got to http://www.jwpepper.com

I saw one a International Music Suppliers in DePlains, Ill, last itme I was there. Try http://www.intlmusicsuppliers.com I've had mine since my freshman year at college and still reffer to it for warm-up and "technical tune-ups."

I buy almost all of our music from Luyben Music in Kansas City. They have an excellent selection, decent pricing & ship us postal service priority mail for a very reasonable amount. (most times I get 2 day service if I order in the a.m. --- I am in Oklahoma City, OK). Eble Music has an excellent selection & pricing, too.

Luyben Music has a SEPARATE CLARINET CATALOGUE which I find ordering from very easy. I find Southern Music & Pepper more difficyult to order from in locating music I want to order in their online catalogues. (however, its probably just me on the latter!)
