Ooh, I didn't know that nickle-plated metal Noblets (selling for nearly $300 at this writing), the finest made, were all the rage in symphonies!

With the reed on top, yet.

And be sure to check out the sexually attractive Bundy (with no case) at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1444256428

It certainly has no future in music, and it's too crooked to be a lamp.

With a sledgehammer and a little exercise, though, it could probably make a good saber for grilling shish-kabab.

Hmmm....my wife bought one of those Noblet clarinets off eBay about a year and half ago for less than $50. Her father played on one in high school back in the early 50's. I overhauled it for her to give to him as a Christmas gift. I wonder if he could get that kindk of money out of his!

It makes me want to go look through the dump behind my friend's music store and see if there's anything funny back there. There's bound to be something! At least these things brighten our days.

I went to an art show last weekend and there was a guy there who made sculptures out of old instruments and old parts of instruments. The stuff he made was pretty cool and the prices would more than pay for all the old junk on e-bay.

My daughter has my old "Regent" that has a curve, but backwards to this one. Reason? I bent it over some joker's head during a WWII 2-beer night. Still plays (good?) and she won't sell it or give it back to me.
