I just heard the term: Endemic American Racism
Though a long road, we eventually will get to a place where that no longer has any meaning.

Hi Paul. The road has already been too long, and the end remains out of sight. To veer closer to "on topic", people like world-class clarinetist Anthony McGill, 40 million of them, have to live their lives in fear and real peril because of racism in the USA, in our - OUR - time.

One has to look optimistically toward the future both on the political and economic fronts because the alternative is a breakdown of society.
I prefer the optimistic approach.
But yes, we may be speaking in terms of multiple future generations of work toward a better end. So many lives have been broken.
