Just returned from the Star Spangled Spectacular performance at the Meyerson in Dallas -- performed by the Dallas Wind Symphony. WOW! What a performance. Really a great show -- our first and they *sold* me; I bought season tickets for the up coming season in Sep.

Afterwards we went for B-B-Q & beer (both no-no's for my diet). It has been a great fourth for us. I hope for you also. And it's okay for those outside the USA to help us celebrate.

My daughter wants to take me out to diner for my BD Friday and I requested Hooter's -- don't think my wife is going for that one.

Ya'll have fun -- back on my head tomorrow.

God bless getting up at 6am to march two parades, after already marching two this week, and playing a nighttime concert. Only on the forth, folks. =) I feel for those with warmer or more humid temps, or more than two parades. We almost had a third today, but thankfully the business manager turned it down. He said he feared a rebellion if he didn't.

Today was a beautiful day here. Plenty warm, but not too warm and relatively no humidity (a rarity this time of year in Minnesota), and just enough wind to keep away the bugs.

A little Bbq with the family after a morning of lawn care and car washing. What a relaxing day :)

Too bad there are two more days to work this week.

the 4th was great here. one parade and two concerts with two different bands. We had a blast. Fell asleep during the fireworks, though!

Me play on the 4th? Yeah, but in a golf tourney and made a few bucks.
