 Alto clarinet leaks

Thought I'd post this for people who have a double vented octave key joined on a rocker arm.It is absolutley critical this is working and not leaking .I have experiences leaks without knowing it and couldn't figure it out. Even if I could play up to high A above high C it sometimes it not noticeable UNLESS............You specifically test your octave key.I took 3 days off came back and was pulling the hair out of my head why why why.....squeeks.Normally I'l take a screwdriver too the setscrew on octave key and while playing middle bflat to g above back and forth adjust til I get a clear sound on both .Today I discoverd althought that was working I still had a leak .Thru experimentation played high B and took my right hand and pressed on the octave cup and surprise it was gone ,so I hade to readjust the setscew again , which unfortunatley tends to come loose alot.I was practicing the Etude #3 by Pizzarelli a Tango and could not make smooth jumps up high with out squeeking but now its smooth
