Hello! I have googled the inscription on my clarinet (a wooden Yamaha Gakki) to know its model, but I haven't found anything of the sort. Something must be escaping me in the way of reading it. Here's what it says:
00|343AII (actually, the bar after the zeros is not a bar but an upper-pointing arrow)
Thanks in advance for any help!

Is there any form of model number stamped/engraved on the top joint along with the logo?
The serial number won't offer much in identifying it as Yamaha haven't published their serial number lists and they're all over the place at best.
It was most likely made before 1987 if it says 'Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd.' on it.
The wooden clarinets Yamaha offered from the '70s through to '87 were the 30, 50*, 60, 70* and 80 (Custom) series. The 30 series had nickel plated keywork - all others were silver plated (unless the 50 series were also nickel plated).
* 50 and 70 series were US only models.

Found it! It was engraved so small and had become so subtle with the passing of time that I had to use the reflection of direct light to discover it. Thank you so much!

Not a bad model, the 34. "Nippon Gakki" was the original name for Yamaha when the company was founded.

'Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd.' was dropped in 1987 which was their 100th anniversary year and replaced with 'Established in 1887' and Yamaha became Yamaha Corporation.
By that time the YCL-34 had already been replaced with the YCL-34IIN (nickel plated keywork) and 34IIS (silver plated keywork).
