Hi all. I am looking to get a new mouthpiece to replace my pomarico. I have ordered catlogues from woodwind and brasswind, Muncy Music (or something like that) and International Music Suppliers. One of the types I am interested in is Pyne, and Kyle Pyne told me to try his mouthpieces through the 4 major american suppliers (3 of which I listed above). Does anybody know the policies of these stores in regards to sending mouthpieces all the way to Australia? Do they do stuff like that? I'm still waiting for ww&bw to reply to my email asking about their policies, but I thought someone here might know. I think alot of places ask for payment of all mouthpieces sent out first, and then refund the money when they are returned. I don't really have the finances to be able to operate like that. Any advice?

Hi, Nick.
I bought my C. Fobes Debut from Muncy Winds and had no problem at all.....they are very helpfull people -- IMHO.
However, I am "local" compared to your location. You should have no prob. but I would send them an email and ask there policy for out of the USA.

I do a lot of business with Lisi Argiris of International Musical Suppliers. She's a professional clarinetist and employs musicians as sales people. I've bought lots of mouthpieces, including some of the Pynes, Bays, etc.--and always was pleased with her service. When I don't like it, I can send it back within the 2 week trial period. Of course, I don't know what the policy for international stuff is, but that's why they call it International Musical Suppliers. They do international business.
